Unreliable - Buy elsewhere

Ordered from Kalahari for a mates birthday, my kids mates birthday and for my anniversary, 2 PS3 games and a book, delivery in 48hrs. Sweet, and it happened to coincide with a 2hr voucher special. Bonus. So I pay by card, payment notified straight away, Kalahari say delivery by the 28th. Knowing how unreliable they are, that gave me an extra day, no problem. Yet what happens, no delivery on the 28th. So being in a rush, I call them. The woman that I speak to says delivery by 3 or 4 this pm but will call me by 12, it should be there by then anyway... waited till about 1:30 for the call. Her response, she doesn't know... oh wait, I've already called FedEx, so I know more than her from a 2min conversation. They sent it over land, which gives it a minimum time of 3-4 days... how can they say it'll take 48hrs/3days with 3-4day delivery time? They know that, clearly they don't know how to be truthful. So now, as the best mate, I have to explain to a party of 100-150 people, why I never got my mate a present... I somehow think they'll believe my "rather buy from takealot" spiel. And to think, going away just b4 xmas, I was actually going to do all my shopping with kalahari.
