Do not want to exchange damage item

I bought a Brabantia Stainless steel handmixer on the 6/10/2013 and one of the mixers doesn't turn.
I took it to the customer service on Sunday 10/11/2013 to ask for an exchange, I unfortuanetly did not have the slip with me because we move. The manager said that they will send it to the supplier and I will be charged for it to be fixed. But she also said that if I can bring the proof of purchase she will exchange or refund me. I then went back today with the proof of purchase but they refuse to exchange it. I have to wait now for 21 days so that the supplier can fix it.
I did explain to the manager that I use the mixer for my income to support my 2 children and my mom. But they do not care for the fact that I am loosing a standing baking order every week. And they definetely do not care for the fact that it means I can't support my kids and my mom as I am taking a R480 loss for the next few weeks because I have to wait for the supplier to come back to me with a quote of how much it will cost to fix a item that is still well under its guarantee and warrantee.

I will be reporting this to Carte Blance if I do not get a resonable response.
