Refused an exchange

I purchased a couple items from this store, 2 of which being collars for my dogs. I accidentally purchased the incorrect size of one of them. And also threw away the packet which had the till slip in it. I didn't think it would be an absolute train smash to simply swap out the size of the dog collar however it turns out this is a HUGE problem for Vetsmart. They refused to simply give me a bigger size, i was willing to pay in any extra if there was, and I was forced to keep the incorrect size collar. They said they could not look back on their system and pick up the invoice information from the day I purchased the products because their system does not allow it?!
This is not a massive amount or anything its just the simple principle of the matter. The product was still in tact with all the tags and even their own hand written price tag. I'm very disappointed from the service I got from the store manager as well as the head office manager in Cape Town.
