Last year I was contacted by VVM about a homechoice account which I previously had a poblem as my husband lost his job and I could not pay the account. I did inform homechoice of my problem but my pleas was never taken.

The promise I made was in April 2012 when I receive my bonus I will settle the account. I asked home choice to give me a settlement account and I was informed by homechoice that my account was with VVM and I need to contact them. On the 30 March 2012 I sent an email to VVM and they gave me a settlement amount which I paid by end of April 2012. According to me the account was settled but for the past months I was contacted by different attorneys which asked of the account. I sent the proof of payment to them that the account was settled and none of them returned back to me. When I called Homechoice asking them why was I contacted of this account, I was informed that I owed more than R3000 again. I sent them all the communication with VVM as they referred me to them, but Homechoice never come back to me.

I am in a process of buying a house & I was informed that my name was listed. I contacted Transunion & was informed that Homechoice listed me. Please H
