Home choice has taken my name on credit bureau and moved me from one collection attorney to the next. after finally settling the account with their appointed attorney DMC I now have HTN demanding money from me even after sending them proof of payment. I have sent the proof to home choice as well but my account has still not been updated. the call centre operators seem incompetent and unable to help me. HTN attorneys are telling me to get a refund from DMC and pay them and have threatened me with court proceedings. I cannot believe I'm going through this and homechoice is unwilling to help. DMC tells me I have to send proof of settlement to home choice as they are no longer involved. this is puzzling as they are the ones who promised that as soon as I have settled the account they will inform home choice. homechoice is their client after all. why do I have to be the one who has to update homechoice? needless to say even after sending homechoice the proof I'm still in the same position I was in. FRUSTATED AND ANGRY!
