Very Poor Response and Follow up to Complaint

I had to return an Oral-B Triumph toothbrush to P & G because the battery was not holding it's charge.
The toothbrush was collected on the 28 August 2013 and P&G customer care phoned to say that it would be replaced.
I heard nothing more for another 6 weeks. I then called customer care and was informed that the supplier was out of stock. P&G customer care would issue me with vouchers for the replacement value of the toothbrush. Again, I heard nothing more, nor did I receive the promised vouchers. so, called again approximately 2 weeks later and the P&G customer care said that the vouchers would be posted.
Over a week later, still no vouchers. Called P&G who promised they would investigate and get back to me - no call back! On the same day, I received a notice from the Post Office to collect a reg. item which turned out to be vouchers - value R 1500.00. I went to buy a new toothbrush only to discover that a new Oral-B Triumph costs more than R 1700.00 at Dischem and R2100.00 at Clicks. Called Customer Care again on approx Wednesday, 23rd October and was promised additional vouchers. To date 6th November 2013, no additional vouchers.
Very frustrated. Would prefer a cash refund now!
