I have a Oral B Sonic complete electric toothbrush and have been looking for the replacement heads everywhere in South Africa. On the international website the replacement heads were not listed as discontinued. In JULY I phoned Procter & Gamble Customer Care centre and they informed me that the replacement heads were discontinued for that model. They would be replacing my toothbrush with a newer model on condition that I have the charging base and wall bracket. Replacement stock was arriving in 2 months. In OCTOBER I was told stock would be arriving in 2 weeks and I would be phoned before delivery. In NOVEMBER same story, stock in 2 weeks. In JANUARY same story, stock in 2 weeks. Now in FEBRUARY stock arriving in 1 week. Tried speaking to the Sales or Product Manager but they NEVER seem to be in.
If they do not intend on replacing the toothbrush then they should be honest enough to admit it. In future I will definitely think twice before buying ORAL B / PROCTER & GAMBLE products.
