I came in to the store on mon 14 Oct to get credit for a laptop, i didn't have all documents so had to come back Tue 15 Oct, arrived at 17:30, as they were about to activate, the systems crashed, was told to come back Wed 16 Oct, arrived at 17:40, everything was rushed, nothing was explained to me, I was told by the sales manager, he would give me a discount on the laptop bag due to the inconvenience of having to come back for the third time, i never got that discount!! A few days later i received a call from hi-fi corps call centre asking how my experience was, i explained to her what had happened and i also asked about the insurance that comes with the loan agreement, i knew that it covers death, disability and retrenchment but i asked if it covers to which she replied "yes". I do however, remember her saying that the call was recorded!!! On the 2rd Nov my laptop was and i called hi-fi corp on the 3rd about a claim, they gave me a number for accounts, i called and they informed me that i don't have goods insurance! Had the lady from the call centre told me this then i would have taken insurance elsewhere. They made a mistake and i want my laptop replaced!!!
