I took an Philips iron to Makro Centurion on the 20th of October, I received a sms confirming that the iron was received on the 21st of October. I phoned Philips repair centre just to be informed that the iron was received this morning the 29th of October for repairs. I could not believe my ears! I phoned Makro and ask why such a delay and yes the lady informed me that the truck broke down and could not deliver the Philips iron to Philips! Seriously?? a retailer where people spend thousands of rand cannot take a Philips iron to the repair centre. Now I am going to wait 7 weeks for that iron instead of the so-called 6 weeks.
Terrible service! I said before and said it now again Makro's after-sales!!! Somebody should take control there... really!
