I am a frequent shopper with Clicks and love shopping there but draw the line at being ripped off!
I was at Clicks Flora Centre yesterday to return an iron which was still under warranty. I asked if i could get a refund and get a new iron but was told no because it was "over 6 months" from when i bought it even though it was still under warranty. He then explained it would have to be sent in for repair and that i would have to wait about 4 weeks so i filled in a repair form. I bought another iron which was on special for R379 and which the manager also informed me it was on a special price. However, when i got to the counter to pay it was R400 so i queried this and the lady at counter argued with me so she went to the shelf herself and took the price/barcode to show me that the barcodes did not match and in fact the iron that was on special was "out of stock". The iron that i selected off the shelf was not the same as the barcode that was on special even through it was packed directly above the "special" label. I said that this was not acceptable and it is not my problem that your staff cant pack the stock in the correct place.
