Poor Cellphone Insurance Process

I submitted a claim for cellphone insurance with the store, and was told to expect a time period of 6-8 weeks. I've been unreasonably patient in the process, and have followed up with the store, only to find not much progress as was when submitted the 9 weeks prior.
It's since been 15 weeks, and no efforts of communication whatsoever have been made by the store, all the while I'm charged still for the inutile service- while my device is in their possession.

Moreover, in particular to the store, even at my request I was neither provided with the specific terms and conditions, nor referred. The staff provide service in a lackadaisical manner, and the lack of information of the policy is unfair to the consumer.

I am appreciative of the value that insurance is meant to provide, and being an individual in this field, am dismayed that such conduct is what consumers are served. I am convinced that it is this conduct that degrades the perception of the insurance industry.

I have now accepted that both this store, and the underlying insurer, show a significant extent of incompetence relating to the services they say to have, and have little faith in consulting them for these in future.
