Edgars Protection Plan

I got retrenched on the July 2013, on the 6 of August 2013 I went to an Edgars store to claim, I submitted everything (retrenchment letter, U19 form, copy of identity document); mind you all certified. The assisted manager that helped told

me that it will only take a week and everything will be sorted. After two weeks I went to check and I was told that hollard insurance wants a notification letter, I submitted a second letter from my ex employer still, they want another letter. My previous employer is refusing to give me the third, because he feels that he has done enough from his side and has given me an option to take the insurance to court.

I am now known as a bad payer and Edgars is phoning me everyday because they want their money. When I contact the Edgars store that I claimed in they keep on saying they will make a follow up. I just do not know what to do. I am so. What's the use of Insurance?
