Rude and unhelpful staff

Staff at game refused to unfold a double sized camping bed so that I could assess it usefulness. The floor staff said it was" too difficult". The manager then informed me thatI due to space constraints they did not allow for items to be assembled. I could however purchase the item and bring it back if I wanted to.

We are talking about a fold out 2m by 2m item in a very large store??? Customer obviously comes second at this store..
I went back a second time. Surprisingly their was one on display now but covered with a matress. So why couldnt they do it for me when I asked?

I needed to see how the item felt without a matress. No staff were available. So I unfolded another one myself and was checking it when someone pitches up and in a very disgruntled and rude manner told me that there was one already assembled.By that time I had already assessed what I wanted and folded and packed the stretcher myself. (5 minutes at most).

I think the personnel at the store need to be reminded about the fact that they are there to serve customers, not the other way around. Rudeness and unhelpfulness is not part of their job description
