Unfair business deal

I baught the bed at bears wonderpark pretoria, the price was 3600. I agreed to pay the credit for the period of12 months. I have already paid 5 instalments already. I was surprised when I asked the settlement amount and they told me that it is 5600. only then I realised that I was financed by african bank of which I was not aware of. my main concern is why would they still want to charge intrests of all the remaining months even when I want to settle the credit. I then called the manager that I cant afford to pay the bed any more and that I needed to return it. he told me that its not their problem and that I should have returned that bed 7 days after purchasing it.
