Fonechoice sold me a laptop, they debited the first payment on 25-08-2012, I received the first statement dated 08-11-2012 with a balance of R6568.53, On 21 January 2013 I called them and asked for a balance and banking details to settle my account, they will send an email because they cannot give it to me over the phone. I called them two or three time a day for the whole week, when I call again on 28 January they said I have to pay R7358.59 to settle my account I was shocked because that amount was even more than the balance I had before paying another three instalments, they told me it include interest and insurance, I received an email on 30 Jan, it did not explain anything except that, I have 30 remaining instalments of R345.64, I need to pay R7358.59 to settle it. I believe that the company stop to cover its product if you pay the full amount for it, why fonechoice wants me to pay the remaining instalments for the insurance, somebody please tell me why they charged me R9432.43 in six months for a product that cost R5645.00, and tell me where does that R7358.89 come from. I have paid the money they asked because I don't want a bad credit record but I believe I am being robed.
