Products bought from Makro bad quality

Bought a Prestige fan from you 3 weeks ago - now it doesnt work anymore- had a cracked cap when I took t out of the box thought oh well- thats not the end of the world

Also on that same day bought a Sunbeam 32 litre water filter from you- it has leaked every single time I refill it- I have had more that 10 litres of water on my floor

Please advise why your products are such bad quality?
