Verimark Products DO NOT have guarentees

Hello

I bought two Verimark Genesis Hydro Vacs from your Port Elizabeth branch for our home and offices. We bought these on the good faith that if Macro was selling these in store, they must have vetted the products and the promised guarantees by the suppliers. Turns out this is not the case and when there is a problem they wash their hands of the complaint!

One of the machines has packed up. Verimark says mishandled and hence will not repair a 9month old machine. Looking at hello peter Verimark complaints, this seems to be a normal thing with 100s of similar complaints to ours. Motor packs up due to water entering the motor. (it is a water vac?) We believe this to be a design defect and not miss handling by us. We need Makro to assist a loyal customer of theirs in driving this complaint to the manufacturers.

Look forward to seeing whether Makro Head Office washes their hands of the complaint (like the local branch has, who in fact just do not return calls) or assists a loyal Makro client in resolving the complaint with the supplier.
