Contradicting Information

Placed my pre order with [URL Removed] They sent out 2 emails stating it can only be released on Saturday as per Supplier. 2nd Email states:

They stated verbatim that: "We do no ship on a Saturday and orders will therefore start going out Friday evening for delivery Monday onward."

To my suprise- they do offer weekend deliveries as stated on their website. Unfortunately, I only checked after 12 - the cut off time according to the call centre. Who was very unhelpful.

The purpose of a pre-order is to receive the item on release date. So why couldn't it be shipped then?
And why the contradiction? Takealot should have at least given us the option of overnigth/weekend delivery.

Paying the R75 more (for overnight delivery) is not a problem, and should have been communicated to us.

Utterly disgusted. Will use a brick & mortar store in the future.
