I have been a loyal member of TAKEALOT, formerly Take2, for over 7 years.
I have always been super impressed with the service and quality of goods from TAKEALOT, but lately I have been subjected to continual late delivery of products and the call centre does nothing but apologize each time.
This is unacceptable!
Why inform a customer that an item will be delivered by a certain date and then not adhere to that date! Instead, they blame suppliers for not having the goods available on time or warehouses for being regionally situated. What happened to service level agreements?
Quite recently I ordered an item and when the delivery date came and I had received nothing, I called them to inquire and it slipped through their system completely, stating that the item had not even been requested from the supplier yet.
Then just a week later, I was due to receive a pre-order item which I had purchased 2 months before. The release date was first delayed by 3 weeks and by the new date I still had not received the item. For these items, they supposedly "ENSURE" delivery by the release date.
Absolutely disappointed with this company - wondering if there's a better online shopping site in SA?
