A lazy, incompetent employee came to measure my lounge for carpets. My wife had to park her car for her as she couldn't drive, I had to draw the floor plan & measure for her as she was incompetent & she expected me to look at swatches at her car as she was too lazy to bring them into the house. After complaining a second employee was sent & measurements were taken. I was told I had to pay in full before they would fit the carpet. I paid in full & was notified on what date they would fit the carpet. They didn't arrive on the date confirmed & a further date was set.By now I had taken four days leave from work (two days to measure, one day they didn't arrive to fit & the day of fitting). After inspecting the poor workmanship I needed to take a fifth days leave to show their inspector the work. He confirmed it was poor & said he would come & fix the work. I complained to the National Manager who said he would investigate & call back. Yet still no call & still no fixed carpet. House & Homes clear message to me - pay us in full & then you have no come back when we do poor work & send lazy incompetent people to you! My message to the National Manager - a fish stinks from the head down!
