No Delivery on Pre-Order Grand Auto 5 PS3

I pre-ordered GTAV a few weeks ago with CNA. Although I could have ordered the item from many other shops I chose CNA as I have an edgars account and I get points for shopping at CNA. The item I pre-ordered was scheduled for release on the 17th of September, today is the 21st and I have still not received anything.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but if I pre-order something, does that not mean that I am sort of booking (reserving) an item? Does this also not mean that I am supposed to receive the item on or just after the release date??? I am a bit confused here, because if I had ordered the item from any other shop I would have taken delivery already as all my friends have done. I ordered this item long before the release date and now I don't have a copy, although I have paid for it weeks in advance. This doesn't make any sense and it sort of defeats the whole purpose of the PRE-ORDER doesn't it?

I have emailed the CNA people about this, I have called about this and I have gotten no decent response. I was basically forced to buy the item earlier in the week. However I am still waiting for my pre-ordered copy???
