Nivo reneged on the price of an advertised item

Yesterday I ordered and paid for a "Canon Pixma iP100 Colour Inkjet Printer" advertised on the Nivo site at R1, 589
Today they reverted to tell me that the item I ordered was "out of stock" and had been "discontinued."
In the very same email they then offered me a "similar" printer, which (lo and behold), just happened to be a "Canon Pixma iP100 Colour Inkjet Printer" (exactly the same item) at the now inflated price of R2, 548.99

Probably what happened was that they incorrectly listed the item at a lower price, but when they realised their mistake instead of admitting fault, they gave me the dishonest "out of stock" and "discontinued" story!

I am now awaiting my refund and certainly won't be trusting Nivo again!
