I would not have expected such poor service!

I purchased from Clicks a Remington Trimmer. On the box it stated the trimmer could be used for, inter alia, trimming nose hairs. When I got home it was difficult to open the box - it seemed to be glued - so I had to tear it open. There was no attachment for trimming nose hairs although the package insert said change attachments. I returned with the product and my till slip and was told to speak to Mr Lakay. I explained my problem. He mumbled something then disappeared. He reappeared and said if I wanted a nose hair trimmer it would mean buying a different item. I pointed out to him the box clearly stated for "TRIMMING NOSE HAIR" He agreed the box said that. I then suggested I take another, more expensive, item and pay the difference. He then disappeared again and left my wife and I standing at the cashier counter wondering what was happening. I traced him to the back of the shop where he was in conversation with a lady who subsequently advised me I could clean my nose with the item. They complained the box was torn and said I should take it back. I refused! No more shopping at clicks. Outside was a man who said he was the manager. He shrugged his shoulders when I told him the story.
