Stuck with a new pair of defective rayban aviators

I bought a pair of rayban aviators on 01/12/13 when I wore the glasses I realized the nose pieces were sharp on the edges and literally cut through my skin. I returned to the shop shop with an intention of getting a new pair because they were barely new... the manager instantly assumed I did not buy the pair and it was given to me as gift, color of my skin maybe, I don't know. She refused to exchange them because the 10 days have passed and offered to fit in a new set of nose pieces instead. I left the glasses at the store and the nose pieces were replaced with a set of new ones by a local optometrist. I collected the glasses to realized the new nose pieces have the very same problem. I returned to the shop 02/01/12 and the agent on duty, Chad made sure I understood that they have done me favor and have gone the extra mile and he has consulted with his manager and unfroturnately there is absolutelty nothing they can do to help me as they were too busy and they will send an email address and hopefully there I will be assisted. Until today 1 month later I sit with a pair of R1800 worth glasses that i cant wear, wait for that email address feeling undermined and not valued
