I would like to bring to your attention of the Dissatisfaction of a service your Montague Gardens branch delivered.

We purchased a Defy deep freezer from the above mentioned branch.
Upon receipt of this item, this item was badly scratched and damaged on various places.
The inside of the freezer was as damaged, the edging was not clued correctly at the seams, you could still see the glue sticking on the body of the freezer.

We called Makro MG and they advise they will swap it for a new freezer.

when the new freezer was received, we could clearly see the difference between the 2.
The first one received was def a display unit that was used on the shop floor as this unit had wheels.
The 2nd unit did not have wheels.
The inside of the freezer was immaculate and so was the outside, all the packing and stickers we on the 2nd one indicating this indeed was a new freezer and not a 2hand one.

How many people pay for new goods from Makro and received 2hand goods?

I am utterly disappointed in MAKRO for even attempting to rub off floor / 2hand stock to there clients.

This will also def be the last time i purchase a big electronic item from Makro
