Why is it that when you look to purchase an item salespeople are so eager to assist but when you bring a problem to their attention after you bought the item you get NO SERVICE. The 21st Sept 2013 we bought a Whirlpool Fridge/Freezer, we noticed that the fridge was making a loud noise and the temp inside was as if it was room temperature. We contacted Lucky form Makro who assisted us with the purchase who then logged a call with Whirlpool for a technician to come out. My first issue wit Makro is how can you book a call for an item which is reported to you as being faulty within a week after purchase?? Surely this should be replaced?? The technician came out and heard the sound, his exact words were "it is "funny" the fridge should not be making such a noise" sic! He didn't even know how to set the temp. The noise has since become much worse to an extent that it is waking us up at night sometimes 5/6 times. This is unacceptable MAKRO. Saturday 14 Dec we took the time to go to Makro to again report this we were told by Gail a technician will again be booked, today is the 19th NOBODY have made any attempt to contact us. We paid R16, 000 for FAULTY GOODS YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!
