Update of credit bureau

I settled my account in August and to date it is still showing as open on the credit bureau. Credit bureau refuse to update as they say Jet (Edcon) needs to update on there side and Jet says they send the request through.
This account has been settled a while ago and nobody can tell me when this would be resolved. I closed this account because of this kind of incompetence. Can somebody please advise when this will be settled as the call centre puts me on hold and never contacts me.
