NOT A SAFE PLACE TO SHOP

On the 1st of October 2013 at 18:20, I was Picked Pocketed inside the Checkers Grey Owl by the Salad Bar. I noticed 3 people standing on my right hand side (2xBlack Male & 1XBlack Female). They eventually pushed me aside. When I told them to give me space, they just looked at me funny. I turned trying not to make a scene but 10 seconds later reaching for my pocket my phone was gone. I carry 2 phones with me for work purposes and immediately phoned my other number, but it was off already. When I turned around the 3 people were gone. I approached the security at the door but he doesn't know what to do and is pretty much useless. I asked to speak to the manager, Jonice which approached me but was told that there is no surveillance cameras in the area I was standing. I then asked for the footage by the entrance but was turned down again. They eventually phoned the branch manager, AJ, but also no luck. How can Checkers allow to run a business without any form of security. The Vodashop at your entrance was robbed numerous times and surely you should step up your security. I spend /- R2500 a week in your shop but this time was the last. Your environment is unsafe for shoppers!!!
