"Specials" mispresented

A Kenwood Triblade was marked at 499.99. Nowhere did it specify a 15 function or a 23 function. The 2 models were on one shelf with only one price - 499.99. Another customer had tried to purchase the product and had been told at the till that as it was a 23 function it cost 899.99.I was at the shelf wanting to buy the product as well - she was arguing with an asst that this was misleading advertising. The manager of the dept was called but argued vehemently with both her and myself that it was not. Eventually Andre Viljoen was called (we were told he was "the boss") he reluctantly admitted it was misleading and allowed the other customer to purchase the 23 function at 499.99. When I expressed my wish to do so as well he very rudely told me he wouldn't allow it as I was now aware that the price was a mistake!! Surely he had created a precedent with allowing the first customer to purchase at that price and with that admitted guilt? I have photos of the products on the shelf and how they were displayed with the pricing. I found Mr Viljoens conduct grossly unfair and humiliating. i have been an almost daily shopper at PnP for the past 25 years and never experienced something like this.
