MIS-LEADING THE CONSUMER

I bought fresh chickens on special. The kilogram weight on the wrapping showed 1.48kg. When I weighed the chicken it was 900g. I took it back to the Franchised outlet and showed the manager who was less than helpful and said that this is how they receive their stock from their Head Office, (his attitude was not friendly). He replaced the chicken with a similar kg weight but it appears that what is being shown on the kg weight is not correct when being weighed. Worst of all the packaging is included in the price you pay.
We are regular customers and do all our shopping at this outlet, perhaps Checkers wants our business??
