Charging for packaging

Yesterday my wife bought some Rolled Pork Loin from Spar in Hobart Road, Bryanston.
The total weight of the item was marked on the packaging as 1.322 KG.
As far as I am aware the weight displayed should be the nett weight of the meat, excluding the weight of the
packaging.
This was not the case with Spar. The weight displayed on the packaging was the total weight of the meat weight of packaging.
The weight of the packaging was 90 grams (0.09 kg) and the weight of the meat was 1.232 KG.
The weight of the packaging therefore amounted to 7.3% of the weight of the meat, for which we were charged.
I still have the packaging as proof.
I would like an explanation from Spar please.
