Payment of unknown insurance policies

I did not receive the statements for 3 months because their agent took the wrong address. I requested the statements for that past 3 months but only received one that stated 2 insurance policies that i did not know about and the money i thought i was paying the clothes i took has been paying those policies. I called to cancel, im told they are canceled but the agent said she is not promising i will be paid back the money they took from me while i was not aware (for those insurance policies).
