In December 2012, somebody bought goods to the amount of R 1500.00 on my account over a 12 month term, my account was on a zero balance at the time. On the 4th of January 2013, I bought goods to the value of R 700.00. The moment I received the account reflecting the additional amount, I contacted Foschini and was advised to get an affidavit signed and submitted to the branch. After numerous re-submitting, the claim was finally logged. I made a payment towards the puchase made in January. Around 2 month ago, I have been threatened that legal action is going to be taken if I do not settle the balance, every time, after requesting the person to go into my details, they promised, it will be sorted. I received a letter around 2 months ago that the R 1500.00 will be credited to my account. This has been done but interest on the 12 month purchase and sms fees are still raised on my account. I made another payment of R 299.00 last month and requested a recon on the money owing. To date I have not receive anything. I received another account in the mail yesterday showing a balance close to R 300.00 with added interest. Surely, any added costs relating to should be credited as well.
