ACCOUNT OVER CHANGING

I was out of job for a long time and trying my level best to settle this account 19546920 and suddenly I'm owing close to 14 grand. My account was handed over to foschini attorney 11/09/2010 by amouny of R6 815.57. I've trying to pay this account at the foschini store about R500.00 a month. Last month on 29/04/2013 I paid R500.00 and the balance was R8, 425.36. This month on 30/05/2013 I paid R500.00 which is what I could afford and the balance on the receipt is R12, 447.57. Now I want to settle this matter and the amount is R13 040.48... where exactly do they get this figures from??? I'm sure am not going to make any payments to anyone regarding this matter... I think I'm done paying.
