Bad Service - Pathetic

My partner and I were shopping around for beds after being to few furniture stores we decided to go in to J.D
after several minutes a " sales lady" without any smile asked if she could be of assistance we stated to her that
we want to purchase a bed but wanted delivery the same day being (Saturday -21.09.2013) 10.00am.
The lady then advised that she would discuss with her manager, we followed her through to the manager and asked if he could assist, the manager stated he could not ..and started explaining to us about a "grid" that had nothing to do with what we wanted, being irate by then we told him walking in to his store we did not get the assistance and even after speaking with him - he was still not able to assist, we did advise him that we got better service from the other furniture store! he then replied if we not happy then go back to that store. To no surprise we were the only customers in that store- so no excuses for being busy.
Also note there was no attempt by the manager to try to contact the warehouse to find out about delivery, i could understand if there was no transport but what gets to me is his attitude to tell me to go another store.
Left disgusted!
