I recently bought a Tom Tom 820 from Makro Crown Mines. Hardly 5 months down the line the navigator started giving problems such as taking 30 minutes to locate a satelite signal. last week out of the blue when I tried switching on the navigator it could not swicth on. I tried charging ot from diffrent cars and charges but to no avail. I then decided to visit Makro Crown Mines on 026 September 2013 and approached the returs department, whom in turn sent me to the tom tom desk where I was assisted by a lady by the name of Refilwe. I explained my scenario and she advised that the product was to be tested and if found that it was faulty I would receive a replacement or refunded my money (R2199.00). this was after being at the store for 2 hours, I called the manager Lez Pramjeeth (011) whom send a very rude Indian guy who assisted with an attitude. I booked in the product for repairs as I had now been waiting for 3 full hours with no replacement product or refund and the Indian guy advised that he would contact me in 48 hrs but to no avail. the service of makro is very poor and putrid.
