Pick 'n Pay
APPAULING CUSTOMER SERVICE & BAD ATTITUDE

Shops, Products, Services

My mother is 78 years of age and I take her shopping every Friday at Pick 'n Pay. There was a pay-point for pensioners only but since this pay-point could no longer be managed by the branch, it was taken away and pensioners now wait in long queues like the rest of us. When my turn came to pay the cashier just got up and walked away without any explanation as to where he was going. I asked the packer where he had gone and was told he was going to look for change. This took approximately 7 minutes. On returning he kept me waiting for another 5 minutes while he was sorting out his rands and cents taking his time while my poor elderly mother stood behind me waiting. This is shocking not to say the least. We have been shopping there for years but since this incident, have decided that we will never go there again. Those people have no respect for the elderly and time is of zero importance to them when there are long queues of people waiting.
