Forced to pay twice for same purchase

Yesterday whilst shopping at Clicks in Westgate mall, they forced me to pay twice for my purchase.

I paid via credit card, and received the SMS on my phone (which I showed to them) that the purchase went off on my account. But they still forced me to pay again. After the transaction went through, the till rebooted and the payment did not reflect on their system. According to the cashier, the very same till has been giving this problem since the previous Wednesday. WHY WAS IT NOT CLOSED?

I was not going to pay again so they had to call the manager, Amina. She was very apologetic but couldn't do anything besides telling me that I WILL have to pay cash again, and that if the money is still not refunded to me, I will have to go to the bank, get a bank statement and bring it into Clicks to get a refund.

I just feel so FURIOUS, because due to their negligence I was the unfortunate customer that had to pay twice and have to go through all this trouble, because they neglected to close down this faulty till.

I am not a difficult person, but I had enough of "professional" people's incompetence. No apologies helps!!! Ultimately you are making ME pay for your mistake. AND THIS IS NOT ON!!!
