Beginning of August I paid a deposit for Adam Rocket chairs that was on back order, due to arrive end of August. The chairs arrived, and nobody from the store phoned me to say I should come and pay the balance, I had to phone them, I then went and paid the balance and was told to wait for them to 'convert' the order (whatever that means) before I can collect it from the warehouse (this was paid on Saturday 31/08). I phoned the warehouse on Wednesday to confirm that I can come and collect, and they tell me that final payment is still outstanding??? I then phoned the store to find out what the problem is, and they just kept making excuses as to why the order was never converted. They promised to resolve and phone me back asap - guess what they never did, I had to phone them twice again and still nothing has been done. Still cannot get my chairs I paid R 5200 for??!! I am now on my way to the police station, going to open a case against @Home as this is, you taking peoples money and then we get nothing in return! Service in this country is absolutely shocking to say the least. I WANT MY CHAIRS TODAY - DELIVERED TO MY HOME AT NO COST!
