Appalling customer service!!

I have just tried to return something at Edgars, a shop where I have been a loyal customer since 2004. One of the WORST things for me to do is return something, especially at this store, but unfortunately due to the nature of the return, I had no choice.
I waited 20 minutes to be served by the rudest "customer services" agent I have ever had to detail with. She didnt have a name badge so I cant give a name. the poor woman next to me was also trying to return something, and was basically told, by 3 people speaking to her, that it was impossible, however after they managed to let her get a word in, it was done immediately.
To top this off, I read a sign on my way out with a number to call for comments and feedback. The IVR recording gave me the option for not being satisfied, but nobody bothered to pick up the call after being on hold for 13 minutes!!
Completely unacceptable for one of the countries biggest retailers.
