Ok Furniture/Power Express
Complaint - False promises

Shops, Products, Services

I purchased a laptop from OK Furniture (Carletonville) in April 2013. Windows 8 was already installed, but they did not supply me with a product key, in order to use my office programs. I did however went back to the store to enquire about the product key, which the salesperson contacted their IT department, whom I spoke to. they informed me that I should connect to the internet and it'll be automatically installed, which did not work. I then went back to the store (27/08/2013) and spoke to the manager. She told me that the windows was only on a trial period, and that this expired already. I need to purchase a new windows program. Due to their negligence from day one, I was not able to use my computer to the full. But every month I need to pay on the date for something that's not working. How do I go from here? Why do I need to pay for this?
