Hi Peter
I bought a laptop with windows7 pre-installed - there is a product key, so I did not not it. Now I have to re-install on a new disk as the old disk crashed. Don't want to take laptop back for re-installation as I fear my linux partition will be gone afterwards. If they can re-install, I am not willing to run back to the supplier every time. And I see there is a R720 charge for support on a product of which I HAVE the product key.
Can Microsoft please contact me and send an installation dvd, as Esquire told me they are not allowed to supply installation dvd's - something like "act of piracy".?

If Microsoft can not help me, I guess it is GOODBYE WINDOWS . I already use linux on my other pc, but I feel I paid an arm and a leg for windows, so I expect Microsoft to supply me with the correct installation dvd for my specific product code. As for piracy, they employ thousands upon thousands of very clever people to be able to check for piracy through the internet.

I hope Microsoft will be willing to help..I do not think I am the only user affected.
