I complained about the listing on ITC this morning and subsequently at this very moment have received a call from Edgars/Edcon, with the following information:

They received a call to escalate my query which will take a min of 7 days to a max of 60 days. The caller did mention that I spoke to someone on the 7th August 2013, where they also promised to have this situation resolved in 48 hours.

If I did not post on Hellopeter, this query would be still sitting in limbo somewhere with no resolution.

This is what you call pathetic service at its best!!!

As mentioned, I was promised resolution in 48 hours 3 weeks ago, but nothing was done since then.

MY ADVICE TO PEOPLE IS TO SHOW THIS RETAILER HOW THE CONSUMERS CAN AFFECT THEIR PROFIT MARGIN. STOP SHOPPING AT THIS RETAILER!!!

If this is how they treat a customer who was with them for 19 years, I would hate to know what they do for new customers. Probably kiss a to get their money until they can move onto new customers to fleece...
