An adverse listing should be removed by the Credit Bureaux after two years. Two years have since past so imagine my surprise when I made inquiries about this listing today. I was told it will take a further twenty four months for this listing to be removed by the Credit Bureaux after Edcon has sent an update to them.

Thando Nyaya passed this information to me at exactly 13:07 today, 10 October 2013. Please can you assist me in this regard as I need either confirmation that this is indeed correct and that the letter I received from Edcon two years ago was incorrect or rather misleading. Either Edcon has misled me or your call centre agents are not very clued up with regards to your policies. None the less, I need clarification in this regard.

I sent an email to Cynthia Chetty as well as Ndoda Kulu with no response from them.

I would need this information rather urgently so your speedy response in this regard will be highly appreciated.

THIS IS JUST PATHETIC SERVICE AND IF THE LETTER I RECEIVED FROM EDCON TWO YEARS AGO WAS INCORRECT OR MISLEADING, I WILL GO AHEAD WITH LEGAL ACTION.
