HIGHLY INSULTED BY IGNORANCE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE

My grandmother passed away in November 2012, in December and January we had gone to close the account, complete an application form and submit death certificate and submit the ID with my 81 year old frail grandfather present.

Every month since January we have received threatening account in arrears phone calls and letters from Edgars. Over and over we had explained we had completed application forms and submitted all documents required even again, getting my frail grandfather on the phone to speak to the call center agent to tell them that she is dead! we do not have any documents.

I called the service line again spoke to several agents no one knew who the Manager, Leeanne Daniels was signing off these letters of demand- I sent my frustrated email to [Email Removed] customerrelations@edcon.co emails only to receive a reply, "We have received your late grandmother's account concern and apologise for the frustrations incurred. We humbly ask that you fax the documents to our accounts team on the below fax number " i was like what the, are you serious, Edgars Canal walk has it all the documents!!
That was the 22 August - I am STILL WAITING ON A REPLY
