At the end of June my new whirlpool washing machine broke, which is still under warranty, due to electrical problems within the unit. I immediately phoned whirlpool customer care to send a technician to fix the unit. Andy (technician) inspected the unit on 01/07/2013 and ordered the relevant parts which was faulty. Between then and now nothing has happened, my washing machine is still broken for nearly 2 months! During this time I have had to phone whirlpool myself to try and find out what is the situation, why is this repair taking so long? Nobody can ever tell me what is going on and many promises was made by Basani (Call center operator) and Allan (supervisor) to get back to me with correspondence about this matter. Empty promises yet again! Allan only called me back once and never again when he said he would. I have had to incur costs from Laundromats for 2 months! I could have bought a brand new unit with that money already! I grew up with a whirlpool in my house and when I bought my own washing machine, this company was my 1st choice. Big mistake! I urge consumers to heed my warning, whirlpool has no care for their customers and NO service delivery!
