Do not buy from Readers Warehouse

The attitude at readers warehouse is disgusting, they couldnt care whether you buy from them or not so rather dont!
I had some cheap small books that i wanted to exchange from them and because they were gifts, i OBVIOUSLY, didnt have a receipt - which in normal instances is fine if the books are in a perfect condition and have the barcode and price on them! The management at head office - especially a man named mark was completely rude and unhelpful and too ignorant to see the bigger picture of losing customers through a rude attitude rather than being helpful and trying to rectify the situation to keep me an many, many others as customers. They too simple to see how hiding behind a ridiculous impractical returns policy harms them the most!
So beware - do not buy from these stores - especially if its a gift for someone as they can never exchange it or do anything with and they try hide behind the stupidest most ignorant returns policy without realizing that there will be some grey areas where a decision can be made to either keep a loyal customer or turn them away forever - they happily made that choice
