Non replacement of External hard drive

I bought a seagate 1TB external hard drive from CNA cresta and i used it for less than a month. It developed a fault&I then returned it to CNA, were i spoke to a lady called Cynthia who told me that they have to send it to seagate so they can access what the problem is. She informed me that if they can not repair or service it they would replace me with a new one. I called CNA after 14days after dropping off and i was told the unit is faulty and they can not fix it. As per agreement with Cynthia my unit was meant to be replaced but later was told that they will not be replacing it. They offered a refund which i refused as i bought a external harddrive and expect a harddrive back instead of cash.
I was put through to Anthony on Wednesday at 10am and i told him what has been going on and he was going to look into the matter and get back to me before end of day which he did not. I had to call him back on Thursday at 3pm and was told he was out. When he called me back to offer me a alternative harddrive of similar capacity but i had to top up or just a refund which i had told him i will not do. He was rude telling me take it or leave it. If not call head office as he is done with me
