I'm not a cabaret

I was at Game recently to buy some office furniture. Sadly, the one desk was packed really high up and was impossible to reach without a ladder. I went off in search of one. Finally, I asked oneof the merchandisers (I presume) if there was one around. He looked at me as though I was a lunatic and walked away.

I should point out that i was recently in a motorcycle accident and had to use crutches.

Finally, after much searching, I located one and took it to where I needed it. I then attempted to take the desk down. About 4 staff members were looking on in amusement as a bloke with a fractured sternum and a leg in plaster tried in vain to get the desk. Finally, I gave up. I left the store and went to Pick n Pay and got slightly more expensive but worth the walk office furniture. Game's staff on this occasion cost them about R5000.00 in turnover.
