Makro Sells Product Beyond Best By Date

I wrote to Makro 5 days ago via their website link, asking to clarify the expiry date on product, but they are not responding. So it is only reasonable to turn my question into a complaint. I purchased a bottle of Flutterby wine last weekend. The label states "Best if consumed within 12 months after filling" and the filling date is "12/12/2011". My interpretation is that the wine should have been consumed by 12/12/2012. Should Makro still be selling the product more than 8 months after its best by date?
